Mrs. Emma Van Doran WHITE, widow of John Marshall White, died at her home in Alamo on Saturday morning. Her acute illness lasted but a week but she has been in poor health. Funeral services at the Alamo Christian Church on Monday morning were in charge of Rev. John Servies. Burial in Alamo Cemetery. Mrs. White was the daughter of Joseph and Mary VanDoran and was born near Alamo. She first married William D. Jones who died in 1890. In 1896 she married Mr. White who died March 5, 1935. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Peveler of Crawfordsville and son, Earl D. Jones of W. Chicago; also by step sons, Will E. White of Waveland; Alonzo E. White of Braden Castle, Fla; and Jesse H. White of Bloomington.- kbz
